Spend the winter working on Inishbofin

A desk with a harbour view, fast broadband, a self-catering cottage of your own and an island community of fewer than 200 people. Come for a month, or for the whole quiet season.

The quiet season

Why winter?

Summer on Inishbofin is busy with visitors. From October to spring the island belongs to the people who live here: the roads are empty, the light changes by the hour and the evenings are long.

That makes winter a good time for focused work. Cottages that are booked solid in July are available, the Connected Hub in the Community Centre gives you a proper desk and reliable internet, and the walks are all yours.

Your stay also helps island businesses stay open all year.
